  • www.forkit-ai.com setzt keine Cookies, speichert nichts auf Ihrem Gerät und lädt nichts von Dritten.
  • Seitenaufrufe zählen wir ohne Cookies und ohne IP-Adresse: Gespeichert werden nur Seitenpfad und Zeitpunkt.
  • Kontakt läuft über E-Mail: Das Kontaktformular bereitet nur eine E-Mail in Ihrem eigenen E-Mail-Programm vor. Die Website sendet und speichert nichts davon; Ihr E-Mail-Programm sendet, nicht die Website.
  • Die Mac-App AI Passport (Founding Beta) speichert, was sie aufzeichnet, nur auf Ihrem Mac und sendet uns nichts (Abschnitt 6).

3. Aufruf der Website

Die Website läuft auf Firebase App Hosting (Google Cloud) in der Region europe-west4 (Niederlande). Ihre Anfrage nimmt der nächstgelegene Standort des weltweiten Google-Netzes an, unter Umständen außerhalb der EU; er verarbeitet technisch notwendig IP-Adresse, Zeitpunkt, URL, Status, Referrer und Browserkennung und liefert zwischengespeicherte öffentliche Seiten direkt aus (Übermittlungen: Abschnitt 8).

Request-Logs erfolgreicher Aufrufe speichern wir nicht: Ein Filter verwirft sie vor der Ablage. Nur bei Serverfehlern (Status 5xx) bleibt der Eintrag zur Fehlersuche erhalten, in Frankfurt (EU), und wird nach 30 Tagen gelöscht. Ebenso 30 Tage in Frankfurt liegen die Fehlermeldungen der Anwendung selbst (ohne IP-Adresse). Google verarbeitet Verbindungsdaten außerdem, um seine Infrastruktur zu betreiben und zu schützen. Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (sicherer, funktionierender Betrieb).

4. Seitenzählung ohne Cookies

Beim Laden einer Seite sendet Ihr Browser einmal nur den Pfad (zum Beispiel /connect) an diese Domain. Wir speichern dazu einen Logeintrag mit Pfad und Zeitpunkt, 30 Tage in Frankfurt, und zählen daraus die Aufrufe je Seite. IP-Adresse, Browserkennung, Referrer oder Kennungen werden dafür nicht gespeichert, und auf Ihrem Gerät wird nichts gespeichert oder ausgelesen; eine Einwilligung nach § 25 TDDDG ist daher nach unserer Einschätzung nicht nötig. Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

5. E-Mail

Schreiben Sie uns (auch über „Notify me“, „Request Founding Beta access“ oder Feedback aus der App), verarbeiten wir Ihre E-Mail-Adresse, Ihren Namen und Ihre Nachricht mit allem, was Sie hineinschreiben oder anhängen, um zu antworten. Bei Feedback aus der App zeigt die App vorher genau, was der vorbereiteten E-Mail beigefügt ist; Sie senden selbst. Unser E-Mail-Anbieter ist Google Workspace. Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO bei Anfragen zu einem Pilotprojekt oder Vertrag, sonst Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Wir löschen die Nachricht, wenn sie erledigt ist, oder auf Ihren Wunsch. Ausnahmen: E-Mails, die Geschäftsbriefe sind, bewahren wir 6 Jahre auf (§ 257 HGB), steuer- oder buchhaltungsrelevante Unterlagen bis zu 10 Jahre. In dieser Zeit sperrt ein Löschwunsch die Daten für jede weitere Nutzung; gelöscht werden sie, sobald die Frist endet.

6. Die Mac-App AI Passport (Founding Beta)

Dieser Abschnitt beschreibt die Founding-Beta-Fassung der App, die noch nicht veröffentlicht ist. Sie läuft nur auf Ihrem Mac, ohne Konto und ohne Anmeldung. Was sie aufzeichnet, bleibt auf Ihrem Mac; an uns wird nichts übertragen. Was genau aufgezeichnet wird und was nie (zum Beispiel Prompts, Dateiinhalte, Code, Befehlstext, Passwörter), zeigt die App vor der Installation und unter Settings → „What AI Passport records“; dort können Sie Teile abschalten oder alles löschen. Nur wenn Sie „Check for updates“ oder „Install update“ anklicken, lädt die App die signierte Release-Beschreibung bzw. das signierte Release von GitHub (raw.githubusercontent.com und GitHubs Release-Server, GitHub Inc., USA); GitHub sieht dabei Ihre IP-Adresse und verarbeitet sie nach seiner eigenen Datenschutzerklärung. Sonst nimmt die App keine Verbindung nach außen auf.

Für die Daten, die auf Ihrem Mac bleiben, ist die Forkit AI UG (haftungsbeschränkt) nicht verantwortlich: Wir erhalten sie nicht. Verantwortlich ist, wer die App nutzt, oder zum Beispiel Ihr Arbeitgeber, wenn Sie sie für Ihre Arbeit einsetzen.

7. Interner Bereich hub.forkit-ai.com

Nur für Mitarbeitende mit einem forkit.dev-Konto. Die Anmeldung über Firebase Authentication (Google) verarbeitet Name, E-Mail-Adresse und Konto-ID; diese Daten liegen bei Google nicht ausschließlich in der EU. Danach gilt ein notwendiges Sitzungs-Cookie (__session, nur für hub.forkit-ai.com, eine Stunde); die Anmeldeseite lädt dafür Skripte von Google. Änderungen, die Mitarbeitende an unserer Google-Cloud-Umgebung vornehmen, protokolliert Google 400 Tage (Speicherort: global). Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b und f DSGVO; Cookie nach § 25 Abs. 2 Nr. 2 TDDDG.

8. Empfänger

Auftragsverarbeiter nach Art. 28 DSGVO: Google Cloud und Firebase (Hosting, Logs, Anmeldung im internen Bereich), Google Workspace (E-Mail), GitHub (nur für unseren Programmcode) und Namecheap (Domain und E-Mail-Weiterleitung). Wir speichern Daten in EU-Regionen, wo wir die Region wählen können. Google, GitHub und Namecheap können Daten auch außerhalb der EU verarbeiten, insbesondere in den USA; das ist durch das EU-US Data Privacy Framework und EU-Standardvertragsklauseln abgedeckt. Links zu LinkedIn oder X sind einfache Links: Erst ein Klick ruft die Seite auf, dann gilt deren Datenschutzerklärung.

9. Ihre Rechte

Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung, Datenübertragbarkeit und Widerspruch (Art. 15–18, 20, 21 DSGVO): schreiben Sie an info@forkit.dev. 1. In short

  • www.forkit-ai.com sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and loads nothing from third parties.
  • We count page views without cookies and without IP addresses: only the page path and time are kept.
  • Contact works through email: the contact form only prepares an email in your own mail app. The website sends and stores none of it; your email program sends, not the website.
  • The AI Passport Mac app (Founding Beta) keeps what it records on your Mac only and sends us nothing (section 6).

3. Visiting the website

The site runs on Firebase App Hosting (Google Cloud) in europe-west4 (Netherlands). Your request is received by the nearest location of Google’s global network, possibly outside the EU, which processes the IP address, time, URL, status, referrer and browser identification and serves cached public pages directly (transfers: section 8). Request logs of successful requests are not stored: a filter drops them before storage. Only for server errors (status 5xx) is the entry kept for troubleshooting, in Frankfurt (EU), and deleted after 30 days. The application’s own error messages (no IP address) are also kept in Frankfurt for 30 days. Google also processes connection data to run and protect its infrastructure. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. Page counts without cookies

When a page loads, your browser sends only its path (for example /connect) once to this domain. We store one log entry with the path and time, for 30 days in Frankfurt, and count views per page from it. No IP address, browser identification, referrer or identifier is kept for this, and nothing is stored on or read from your device, so in our assessment no consent is needed under § 25 TDDDG. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Email

If you write to us (including through “Notify me”, “Request Founding Beta access” or feedback from the app), we process your email address, name and message, with everything you write or attach, to reply. For feedback from the app, the app first shows exactly what is attached to the prepared email; you send it yourself. Our email provider is Google Workspace. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for requests about a pilot or a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete the message once it is settled, or when you ask us to. Exceptions: emails that are business letters are kept for 6 years (§ 257 HGB), and documents relevant for tax or accounting for up to 10 years. During these periods a deletion request blocks the data from any further use; it is deleted when the period ends.

6. The AI Passport Mac app (Founding Beta)

This section describes the Founding Beta version of the app, which is not released yet. It runs on your Mac only, with no account and no sign-in. What it records stays on your Mac; nothing is sent to us. What it records and what it never records (for example prompts, file contents, code, command text, passwords) is shown before installation and in Settings → “What AI Passport records”, where you can switch parts off or delete everything. Only when you click “Check for updates” or “Install update” does the app download the signed release description or the signed release from GitHub (raw.githubusercontent.com and GitHub’s release servers, GitHub Inc., USA); GitHub sees your IP address and processes it under its own privacy statement. The app makes no other connection outside your Mac.

Forkit AI UG (haftungsbeschränkt) is not the controller for the data that stays on your Mac: we never receive it. The controller is whoever uses the app, or, for example, your employer if you use it for your work.

7. Internal area hub.forkit-ai.com

For staff with a forkit.dev account only. Sign-in through Firebase Authentication (Google) processes name, email address and account ID; Google does not keep these only in the EU. After sign-in a strictly necessary session cookie (__session, hub.forkit-ai.com only, one hour) applies; the sign-in page loads scripts from Google for this. Changes staff make to our Google Cloud environment are logged by Google for 400 days (location: global). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR; the cookie under § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG.

8. Recipients

Processors under Art. 28 GDPR: Google Cloud and Firebase (hosting, logs, sign-in to the internal area), Google Workspace (email), GitHub (for our code only) and Namecheap (domain and email forwarding). We store data in EU regions where we can choose. Google, GitHub and Namecheap may process data outside the EU, in particular in the USA; this is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. Links to LinkedIn or X are plain links: those sites are contacted only when you click, and their privacy notices apply.

9. Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection (Art. 15–18, 20, 21 GDPR): write to info@forkit.dev.
